Jon Morris 15.31

15.98, 15.45, 13.61, (12.43), 15.95, (19.03), 14.93, 15.46, 14.63, 15.71, 16.79, 14.57

A good solid average.

Joël van Noort 16.56
(15.20), 17.33, 16.66, 16.13, (20.56), 17.06, 17.96, 17.33, 15.41, 15.80, 15.24, 16.70
My first sub 17 average in the Sunday Contest. I dropped my cube during the 20.56 solve L, but the average is pretty good.
Matt Walter 18.07
14.84, 19.51, 18.37, (14.75), (23.67), 20.54, 16.12, 20.30, 19.68, 18.92, 16.70, 15.73

Personal best on the Sunday Contest! No lucky times. I was so excited when I got my second 14.XX time and then I wrecked my chance for sub-18. I have still never gotten 12 sub-20 times. I continued with 2 more solves for a rolling average and achieved my personal best average of 17.98 second!

4 Tyson Mao 19.83
17.20, 16.97, 18.32, 19.88, 20.18, 21.05, (24.30), 21.68, 24.29, 18.49, (16.94), 20.28

I blame my suckiness on the fact that I was just denied a DPS travel grant.  So if you're in planetary science, you should give me money to go to Cambridge.

5 Chris Hardwick 19.85
18.32, 16.31, 22.02, 16.71, 18.09, 20.26, 22.75, 16.92, 20.21, (15.81), (DNF), 26.88

Done with ZBF2L/COLL/PLL.  Had two ZBLL solves, but I don't remember which ones.  This average makes me want to scream.  I was doing fine up until the end.  Oh well, another week, another average.

Slow start but warmed up after the first 5 solves.

Timed with "The ultimate Rubik's cube® timer version 2.1". I used cross, F2L, OLL and PLL. I made some terrible mistakes  L
9 Bill Tuscher 23.71
24.27, 22.4, 24.42, 22.11, (19.68), 23.93, 20.16, 23.18, (POP), 27.34, 23.04, (29.12), 26.26
I started alright, pulled it together for a few solves, and lost it for the last few. Maybe next week will go better.
10 Mike Bennett 23.96
24.88, (25.94), 22.52, (21.44), 21.98, 24.61, 24.92, 24.28, 23.56, 24.67, 24.27, 23.91

I'm still making the transition from a 3 look OLL PLL into C/COLL E/PLL.  New personal best average.  Standard deviation of 1.00.  Thanks for the great scrambles, Jon.  J

11 Gilles van den Peereboom 25.11

Slightly better than previous week, I really start to feel comfortable at about 25 seconds without having to go really really fast. I even lost some time watching my cube looking for F2L...

12 Michael Atkinson 25.45
20.94, 22.13, (34.11), 27.91, (20.83), 26.39, 30.25, 23.11, 27.66, 23.99, 21.17, POP, 30.99

my main speedcube became too loose....so I had to retire it.  this average was done with a new cube, which explains why it's sooo inconsistent, and sooo slow....

Wow! I just destroyed my previous best average of 42 seconds! I've been working so hard to break the 40 second barrier, and I can finally say that I've done it! Yeee-haaahhh!

Better result in two weeks. There's not much to say. The 35.8 wasn't a lucky case, I've only seen the pieces I needed immediately. The last try was terrible, just at the end I lost concentration! Grr...
